The independent study style affords busy educators like me the freedom and time to meet our own needs. I feel like I accomplished a lot of prepwork for this next school year and it was fun and non-stressful!! I appreciated the quick responses and feedback from Brooke and Ashley on my assignments. It helped me to know I was on the right track as I moved forward.

I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful course. I consider it a true gift to have been able to find a course that suited this season of my life so well – one that stretched me as both an educator and as a stay-at-home mom. Going into it, I did not expect to enjoy the work even half as much as I actually did. Each assignment was truly a fun little adventure into read-alouds. I learned about so many new resources and so many new-to-me read-alouds! One added bonus of this course – my love for the library was reignited. I am so thankful that courses like this are available.

When I signed up for this class I was really excited to have some time dedicated to finding some new read alouds for my class. I was hopeful to have some that were linked to my existing Language Arts adoption. I was able to accomplish both of those goals. I thank you for the worthwhile class. I really enjoyed putting the time in for something useful.
