Instructor: Natalie Conway
This course is designed to help you to create positive relationships with students who display challenging behaviors so that they are able to thrive under your instruction. As you read and reflect on the texts and research articles, you will learn how to get to the root of a student's struggles with meeting expectations inside the school setting, by working in partnership with the student in trauma-informed and compassionate ways. You'll learn that there's more to behavior management than incentive charts, punishments, or functional behavior assessments. At the end of this course you will have gained a better understanding of sound behavioral intervention strategies in order to transform your classroom management style.
