Hands On Literature
Hundreds of outstanding books, award-winners and beloved favorites, are available for use in the elementary classroom. This one-credit class will familiarize you with a variety of books that may be used to create a successful literature-rich environment in which students are actively engaged. Discover a wealth of exciting, engaging ways to incorporate the best-of children’s books for use in the classroom by designing lessons and projects to incorporate into your existing curriculum. At your own pace you will explore web sites, new children’s literature and current trends to inspire in your children a lifelong love of reading. Grades K-8 (PSU: CI-810, K1324J).
Fall:
Register anytime until 11/5/10.
Course work due 12/5/10.

Portland State University is changing the way fees are collected.
Although total tuition amounts are unchanged PSU credit students will now make two payments:
1.a course fee payable to TINT (paid by all students)
2. a credit fee payable to PSU (paid by credit students only)
