Designing the Successful Classroom

        Brooke Schmidt

Does the organization of your classroom leave something to be desired? In this class you will explore practical strategies of how to design a classroom that makes your best teaching possible.

With the focus on the room's physical space, materials storage and students, learn how to renovate your classroom environment and increase opportunities for learning.  Through the reading of Classroom Spaces that Work, by Marlynn K. Clayton, gather techniques to create meaningful displays, effectively arrange furniture, organize supplies, maintain a healthy environment and meet the needs of all your students.   In this distance class you will work through the book and assignments at your own pace.
