Building Classroom Community

        Ashley Smith

Students have greater success in school when they build relationships with other students and adults. An effective way to increase trust and cooperation is through morning meetings. In this class you will learn ways to create or strengthen this morning ritual. By starting your day in this positive way students will build confidence and become more invested in their learning.

At your own pace, you will learn how to implement morning meetings and complete activities that will assist you.   You will need to purchase the book, The Morning Meeting Book by Roxann Kreite. Grades K - 8 (PSU: CI- 810).
